So here's what really happened. Me and my friends were walking along the street from the skating rink, it was late, and when we passed the gas station, we saw these two guys breaking into it. Luckily the didn't see us, so we stood behind the bushes to where we could still see them through the window. We weren't sure if they had any weapons or not, but from the way they looked, I was sure they did. All of a sudden we heard a child crying! This child was I assumed kidnapped by one of them, I bet they took her so if the cops came, they have something to hold against them. Me and my friends worried for the child, so we went in and helped her when the thieves were in the back. Just as soon as we stepped inside, the cops came and the thieves fled the place. From the way everything looked, they assumed it was us! The child was young and I bet scared from being kidnapped, so she didn't help at all. I'm just glad that she's lucky to be alive.
